About Us

The South Australian Museum and the annual ANZANG Nature Photographer of the Year Competition is pleased to announce a new partnership with Australian Geographic in 2013.

This partnership allows us to broaden the Competition, reaching new audiences and spreading our message of conservation and protection of the region's native flora and fauna.

ANZANG is focused on the unique natural heritage of the bioregion of Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and the New Guinea region.

ANZANG was founded by Perth surgeon Dr Stuart Miller in 2003. The South Australian Museum took ownership of the competition in 2009 and Dr Miller remains as ANZANG's patron.
